Wednesday, April 19, 2006 ::: FROM TST TO CAUSEWAY BAY It's Ocean Terminal. What would you choose? I picked the ferry. Arrived at Wan Chai. Thought it's easy to find a bus to Causeway Bay. But no, I need to walk walk and walk before I hit the main road that has buses to Causeway. Fine. I got on a bus. But then when I saw Sogo the bus doors closed. I was a second too late to step out of that stupid bus. So yea, the next stop was already at Tin Hau. So it cost me some more walking time + energy (I was starving and totally thirsty at that point), before I got to the tram station. Didn't know which tram to board, I had to ask the tram driver. Finally a Pau Ma Tei tram came. Good. Got on it. Had to ask driver which is the closest stop to Times Square. Driver had to think before answering - great, I felt less like a complete idiot but that doesn't help much. If you know me well enough you know I an MTR person, especially when it comes to crossing the habor. I guess I'm paying a price now. But that can mean either A) I should stick to using the MTR. or B) I should avoid the MTR and use buses/other means of transport as much as possible, just so when one day the ferry or bus looks prettier than I can still survive the TST-Causeway Bay task without much grievance. What do you say? Let's have a vote. Suggestions/comments welcome - just use the tag booard. Thank you. Recent discoveries: 1. I tend to excuse people with pretty faces for being stupid. 2. An 1 hour 1 to 1 training session at fitness first costs 600 bucks. They give you a 95% discount if you ask for it. How generous of them. 3. Synth pop is dying. The new Lorraine single 'I Feel It' bombed at no.29 in the UK. They're from Norway though. 4. My ability to self restraint is afterall not non-existent. The old me would just buy it, i'm sure. 5.
